We are a team of Italians who grew up in the cities we write about. We started Heritance because we love this country and we are tired of watching people experience it the wrong way — rushed itineraries, tourist traps, restaurants that no Italian would set foot in, and advice written by people who have never lived here.
Italy deserves better than that. So do you.
Everything you read on this site is written by someone who actually lives in Italy. The neighbourhoods we recommend are the ones we walk through. The food we point you to is the food we eat. The mistakes we warn you about are the ones we watch tourists make every season.
