Street of Monaco – € 888 million

this yacht won the Street of Monaco bronze medal, one of the most impressive and expensive boats in the world. Road of Monaco is a creation of Island Yacht Design, an English design studio that has developed a new concept of luxury: the themed yacht. And the theme, in this case, is to reproduce a few glimpses of the Principality of Monaco.

The street of Monaco is 155 meters long and consists of four bridges. Among these is Piazza del Casinò, the highest of all, where there are, among other things, a waterfall, a helipad, and a minipista, a perfect scale replica of the Formula 1 circuit in Montecarlo.

On the second bridge is the Oasis, a large garden inspired by the park which is located just outside the Monegasque Casino. And for fitness lovers, there is a gym with a sauna, indoor swimming pool, Spa.

There is also a hairdresser and bar. But the beating heart of the boat is the Grand Atrium, the central bridge that connects the upper and lower areas of the yacht: a large living room with balconies, sofas, a cinema and a disco. In addition to the owner, the boat can accommodate 16 people in seven 350-square-meter suites and 70 crew members. The market value is 1 billion dollars, equal to approximately 888 million euros.

Eclipse – € 1.3 billion

Silver medal for Eclipse, the second most expensive yacht in the world. Eclipse belongs to the Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. About 162.5 meters long, it seems to have cost the entrepreneur a good 800 million euros in 2013. Still, the administration costs are high: the fuel for a week of travel is worth a million, and the daily running cost is equal at 80,000 euros.

Inside the yacht has a heliport, which can be hidden under the deck by pressing a button, and a hangar with an opening facing the sea that contains three huge boats and a submarine capable of reaching 50 meters deep. On the sixth floor is the magnate’s suite with walls, chairs and tables covered in leopard and crocodile skin.

The Eclipse is also equipped with sophisticated security systems, such as an anti-missile shield and, among other comforts, two swimming pools, a disco and a sauna. Despite the imposing dimensions, this ship is capable of reaching a speed of 25 knots and consists of 11 guest cabins that can accommodate up to 18 people. The current market price is truly stellar: 1.5 billion dollars, more than 1.3 billion euros.

History Supreme – € 4.3 billion

At the top of the ranking, with a well-deserved gold medal, we find the History Supreme. This jewel of the sea was designed in three years by Stuart Huges, a world-renowned luxury designer for Malaysia’s richest man, Robert Knox. Compared to the other boats presented so far, this could seem more “modest” in size, that is 30 meters in length.

But its economic value (4.8 billion dollars, about 4.3 billion euros) is based on the fact that this yacht contains more than 100,000 kg of platinum and gold inside. But also other is the refined, sumptuous and expensive details that make it up: in the master bedroom a part of the wall is entirely covered with fragments of the meteorite, and there is a statue composed of bones of real Tyrannosaurus Rex.

As well as objects such as a bottle of liqueur set with an 18.5-carat diamond worth 42 million euros or an iPhone covered with 500 diamonds and with a power button, in turn, made up of a huge 7.4-carat pink diamond.
